It’s 10pm and I’ve just gotten home. A last minute call from my ex-flatmate last night conning me into helping her clean her house before the parents arrive back from Greece today. How can one say no?
Work is finished by lunch time so off to Maroubra I go. “I need a new vaccuum, oh, and sheets, and towels and, and, and, so by the time we actually get to the house to start tidying up, well. This is a day I would have liked to have my hair cut. But it wasn’t to be, though her hair still looked good from the do I gave her a few weeks ago (bedhead not withstanding).Â
Being a Mobile Hairdresser is great but because you work for yourself, you lack the salon team around you that allows you to have your own hair done. But this points out one thought I’ve always had about good Hairdressers:
A good Hairderesser may not always have good hair. If they are good, they probably are too buy to be able to get their own hair done, and, maybe the others in the salon aren’t that crash hot.
So look at the staff, if they all have good hair except for one, then you know who the good one is, he’s the one having bad hair days. Now people know why I used to wear a hat in salon so much!!!
